Overview

Gear metering systems use positive displacement gear pumps to deliver highly controlled flow of multi-component materials such as epoxies, silicones, and polyurethanes.     The GP- 302 series is a mid-level solvent free gear metering and mixing system used to handle low to medium high viscosity multi component media such as epoxy resins polyurethanes or silicones with a volumetric mixing ratio of between 100:100 and 100:2. Special configurations to process high viscosity media are also available. This system can be customized for individual customer needs and integrated without difficulty into automation cells.

High-Viscosity Gear Pump Metering for Structural Adhesives

Kirkco engineered a high-viscosity gear pump metering architecture for structural adhesive applications requiring stable flow, pressure consistency, and repeatable volumetric output. The system was designed to process filled and unfilled chemistries while maintaining dosing accuracy across continuous and intermittent production cycles.

The system improved bead consistency, reduced material waste, and stabilized application timing. Production reliability increased by eliminating flow variation associated with cartridge-based or pressure-pot dispensing.
