Equipment/Solution:

The equipment used in this application is a Graco TOF hot melt unit, single hoses, single heated distribution headers mounted one automation equipment to feed melted adhesive material to multiple dispense hoses and automatic applicators.  The sheets of foam and/or rigid panels are fed into the automatic equipment where the melted adhesive is dispensed into specified positions.

The equipment is as follows:

A single Therm-O-Flow (TOF 200) 55-gal (200 liter) hot melt unit, Senator air motor, Mega-Flo Plate with 6-zone panel and pendant
1 heated hoses, from pump to headers
8 heated distribution hoses with automatic valves
8 solenoid kits for header valve actuation
Custom control package to monitor and control temperature of applicators
Integrated distance based pattern controller.
