Application:
Pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) hot melt is used to laminate paper to film that is used to make peel and stick labels. The PSA hot melt is pumped from drums to a roll coater or slot die coater. Some coaters have a heated hopper that has to be kept filled with hot melt. Multiple drum un-loaders may be required to keep up with the wide coaters running at high speeds.

Equipment/Solution:
Configured TOF 200 with a 31:1 Bulldog pump, mega flow plate, large diameter heated fluid hose, and high flow dispense valve. Automatic changeover systems are used to provide continuous flow of adhesive during drum changeover and optional 7-day timers insure the drum un-loaders are up to temperature at the start of production each day.
