Case 24 - 1K Ambient – Aquarium Manufacturer

Application:

Automatically applying RTV silicone onto aquarium glass seams

Material Used:

RTV clear silicone, approx. 500,000 cps

Equipment/Solution:

Two-post 55:1 Bulldog, 55-gal.  The pump feeds a 15’ x 5/8” stainless steel Teflon-lined supply hose to an air-operated mastic regulator.  Outlet was a 8’x 3/8”  SST lined dispense hose to an automatic snuff back valve.  The customer supplied a fixed speed automatic dispense table that applied the RTV silicone onto the glass.
